In this practicle we had to observe the Displacement reaction. We added a strip of Zinc with copper solution nad had to observe the reaction.
The zinc a a paermanent colour change of black which was a great way of showing displacement

COMMON INDICATORS RESULTS
The point of this experiment was to look at the various types of indicators in acidic and basic solutions. We had a base Sodium Hydroxide and and acid which was Hydrochloric and a neutral which was distilled water.
Bromothyl Blue, Red litmus, Universal Indicator, methyl orange, methyl red phendphtlalein were the indicators.

METALS AND ACIDS RESULTS
This experiment shows who metals react with acids. In this experiment Hydrochloric Sulphric and Acidic acid will be mixed with each Aluminium, magnesium, zinc and iron
All metals except for iron had gas being released when mixed with each of the acids and exspecially magnesium which had a high levels of bubbling.
